    Defining stage1, stage2, stage 3

    plenty of ppl around here and other forums are into "stages", while i am not really able to separate those stages, all i can think about is at stage 1 you got a remap, at stage 3 you got a hybrid turbo and all the others bits like down pipe, fmic...

    So if you got a 3'' downpipe, a fmic and an uprated DV...you can directly get a stage 2 map right?
    (since the cone air filter or even the panel filter doesnt do much difference)

    and not that not all the tuners have stage 2, so what really is a stage 2?

    It has been said quite a lot of time now dude.

    STAGE 1 - Standard car

    STAGE 2 - Uprated DV, Uprated cone/panel filter, Uprated TIP, Full turbo exhaust. (Not needed but advised for stage 2 is a FMIC)

    Stage 3 - Hybrid/big turbo, Uprated injectors (possibly uprated fuel pump)

    what Nath said! I'd go straight to stage 3.

    Stage 1 is best value for money

    stage1 isnt a standard car a standard car is a standard car stage 1 is a remaped car, stage 2 is a remaped car which has had a 3inch downpipe decat or sportcat and filter etc which then can have the stage 2 remap to do justice especially to take advantage of the 3inch downpipe, stage 3 is bt plus internal mods if necessary.

    Yes it is. What mods do you need for a stage 1, nothing ......... a standard car.
