A3 VS S3 foglights

As many on this forum know, i am lookung for a fog light grills and fog lights for my 2001 S3.
Stoke audi will probably get me the fog grills both sides at around 50.
For the foglights i was looking to get some aftermarket ones and i found that depo lists the same foglight for 2001+ A3/S3.
Many said it is the same on 2001+ cars but some sellers of depo brand said that it wont fit the S3.

anyone got an idea?

Not sure on the 2001 model, but I know that the 2000 plate A3 and S3 have the same fog lights. I bought a Depo brand one from eBay selling as 'A3' and it fit my S3 perfectly. Although as I said, mine is a pre-facelift...

bought a pair and would not fit on my facelift a3 lower front bumper so ignore the description, they will not fit on a facelift a3 bumper...

The a3 facelift foglamps have a longer glass edge making them stick out further like these: (again ignore the description for the year of car it will fit)

Also iv used this seller too and he/she whoever they are is spot on.

so i will just buy the ones in the first link.
I assume you mean they dont fit your facelifted A3 but will fit a Facelifted S3?

the pre facelift a3 did not have fog lamps, only the facelift so there are only 2 types of fogs, the ones that go in the facelift a3 and ones that go in all the s3's (as far as im aware about the s3 but im 99% sure lol)
