Can someone help me im after swapping my gearbox from a 5speed to 6speed manual box, Ive got the 1998 audi a3 1.8t sport engine code AGU, ive looked on ebay at some boxes but theres that many with all different codes im abit clueless which will fit? Im sure its not the first time someones asked but ive just been searching through the threads for the last half hour and cant find anything?
Which gearbox will fit??

im pretty much sure you wont get better fuel economy with the 6 speed and your car will drive bad.
If you want the get the 6 speed than you have the get the correct diff ratio with it...and even, your fuel economy wont improve considering also that this setup will cost you a lot of money.
stay with a 5 speed....my advice
