Ok my car is currently at the bodyshop and they are having a nightmare fitting the S3 Side Skirts to it

Does anyone know what skirts these are ? Also any opinions please as mine will look very similar just in White

Does anyone know what skirts these are as im desperate to buy a set instead of the S3 ones

Any help would be great

What wheels are them love um

It has BBS CH alloys on that one same as mine, plenty of replicas about if you want them cheap

jason you have to trim them quite a bit its had to explain if you put a pic of them up i can highlight where to cut tho!

dunno if you can see here where i cut,,,

basically you have to remove all your old trims seal the rear 1/4 ones up with sealer, you need to bond the top part of the skirts on then the bottom half you can screw up using self tappers just get it all precise! Oh and you have to have s3 front wings for it to work too...

Then you need the side trims off the s3 and the rear 1/4 ones have to be offered up and tweeked (sanded) back in places to fit nice....

I'm a chef and i managed to do it with time and patience so anyone can!

Did you have to extend out your rear arches to get them to fit ?
Your is looking very good !

ok, sorry for the crap pic but im at work! cut here where marked blue just where the skirt goes to the smooth bit! then at the back bit trim about 3/4 of a inch off and just sand it back get it all straight until it fits nice, this will have to be bonded at the top!

the bottom as said will just screw on with self tappers big ones with washer on tho not screw head ones!

you will need to use the s3 back skirt bits too!

Also use the s3 door and rear 1/4 trims to hide the skirt and the rear 1/4 bit!

Cool thanks ! I think that's the bit they were planning to cut off, I will send this over to them !

the S3 rear 1/4 trim will need to be bonded on after, hence i got mine all painted first then fitted them! Lets face it the whole thing is a bit of a as my bodyshop mate would say ''performance modification'' (bodge) but if done right it works and looks nice! our shells are totally different to the S3 so we have to improvise like this!

If you stick up a picture of the rear skirt thing i'll show you where to cut and you will have to make a false top to it out of mesh and fibreglass and filler....

People mistake my car for a S3 all the time so my tweeks must have been convincing!

*Update* Ok we have made all the cuts on the skirts

And moulded it all on along wit the S3 lower door trims

I wish i could have afforded one when i bought mine... but sadly i only had about 4k to spend and that couldn't get me an S3 with 45k on the clock lol

I know I put these pictures up on another thread but thought i would keep this all together

Hi guys,
You can put more pictures of this change?
I tried to fit on my A3 an S3 kit, but still can not , seem impossible mission.
Thank you.

I succeeded to front bumper and rear bumper, but it's very difficult to side-skirts .

Thanks! Sadly I sold it about 18 months ago to buy a house :( need to get a new project on the go soon though!

All came from eBay, mostly from people selling parts from damaged cars.

Front Bumper £100 (didn't include grille)
Rear bumper £80
S3 front wings £120
Side skirts £80

All from different cars as you can tell some being red and others being blue, this was all back in 2009/10

Nice job JasonKal, thanks for the pictures, your ex-car looks greate, it is easy to confuse with S3 :)
Do you have more picture with the skirts-job before paint? Thanks.

Hey guys , can someone re upload the photos ? I'm installing the skirts and some guidance would be awesome
