Which wire to use for the dimmer function on my AFR guage...

Ive fitted an AFR gauge in the drivers side air vent but wasnt sure as to which wire i needed to splice into for the dimmer function to work ( it is reflecting on the drivers door window ) i dont mind if it is dimmed all the time but will have to move it if i cant work it out.
The gauge does have a wire to connect to the headlight wiring to dim it when i put the lights on... Is this a live feed or earthing out?
Does anybody know which of the wires on the head light switch will work please .

on another note..i was the guy at inters with a boost problem i took it to Jabba a couple of weeks later to discover it was a duff map!!
