gear cables!!!

Anyone aware of prices for new gear cables? thought clutch had gone but crappy plastic ends on gear cable have snapped! any help on websites etc welcome pple! thanks! ooh s3 210 bhp btw! 2000 x reg.

Sure you can just replace the plastic ends, in fact im sure you can get rose jointed ends from some were, meant to be better on gear changes too, been looking for a while for them as i want some, just cant remember were i saw them lol.

the plastic ends are not connected to the cables. You should be able to get them from the dealers.
Fitting them is a 10 minute job.

thanks pple. got the ends at 18 pound genuine audi! was expecting more but looks like i got away lightly! thanks for the help.
