    copied cds in my a2 question

    hi,just found this site,and great too!!!!!ok,can copied cds (mp3s) be played in my audi a2,as im having trouble playing them!

    Hi

    I don't think it can, The unit doesn't have the software to play the MP3 file. I think it does CDRW though...

    But TBH i have never used it

    Hi

    A CDRW is the format of the disc CD rewritable, in other words you can copy music onto a disc and then copy music over the top at a later date, just like an old cassette. I only have one CDRW and use it to back up PC stuff so i don't have music on it to try it

    I just tried a CDR (recording CD) and that works fine...

    So you can copy music is normal format and use that in the car on discs that aren't the original. But I think thats all it will do.
