Hi , is anyone running these on the standard alloys ? Does anyone know if they will fit width wise etc? Currently running 175/50/15 but there quite a harsh ride! Regards Stuart

OE tyre sizes are underlined. These, along with 155/65R15 and 165/65R15 are the only tyres that are truly 100% compatible and listed in the CoC document.

If it's not on the list, it will not fit without work / rubbing: this includes 205/55R16, 195/65R15 and 225/45R17. Do not buy it without your eyes wide open.

Hi Craig I have read that article before , cheers I was just wondering if the had been tried & if so did they improve comfort as we all know these cars are exceptionally firm!
Regards Stuart

General rule is thicker the rim, the better the ride so if you can add 5mm to the wall then it will be slightly better, but you also increase the tire width which will incur a fuel penalty as your rolling resistance will increase slightly.

I noticed a drop in fuel economy and acceleration when I went from 16 to 17" wheels as I increased the weight and rolling resistance.

I had heard many comments on the 17 inch wheels making the ride firmer but they do look good tho. I will have a look in to it abit more it would be interesting to know if they will fit on the standard 15" alloys due to their width ?
