OK my daughter has got a puncture that can't be repaired . Have tried to get a tyre 215/45/16 but have to wait several days and she drives 90 miles a day to work so we were concerned she does not use the Gooo that comes with the car for that long. The local dealer recommended it should only be used for 30 miles. It is a shame as it is only a small screw, but too close to the tyre wall.
Anyway long story short , she has decided that she can;t risk that hassle again so looking for a skinny wheel. I can't see that Audi sell them , but have heard that a Polo 5 stud 16" will fit .... Anybody got any experience or advice ....

Thks

you mean the tyre weld stuff in a can you squirt thru the tyre valve?
its good stuff tbh,try it. i had a small mysterious leak thru the tyre wall on a part worn i bought on ebay years ago. it used to go down in 3 days. a can of tyre weld sorted it out. did maybe 3k on it, it was fine. hardly had to top up the pressure at all.

agreed on the stupidity of not having a spare on some modern cars. and run flat tyres are a stupid idea too.
