Well, my Mum is to be haha 
We went view a few A1s today, 1 diesel and the rest 1.4TFSI 122ps models.
We test drove a Phantom Black one, then had a look around the white diesel one but then found 'the one'
It's 9 months old, with 8k on the clock and has just about every option other then leather, sports seats.
Just to name a few,
Bi-Xenons with headlamp wash,
Bluetooth,
BOSE,
Sat Nav,
Climate,
DAB,
Heated Seats,
Cruise Control,
Rain Sensor,
Light Sensor,
Rear Privacy Glass,
S-Line kit,
Panoramic Sunroof,
LED Interior Light Pack,
18" S-Line Alloys....
And the lis goes on The total cost new was nearly £26k, my Mum got it for just under £17, which is a total bargain.
The 1.4 isn't too bad, coming from a Golf GTI she will notice a different but cheaper finance, fuel, tax and insurance will also make the difference.
