A1 "deadlock" see owner manual

hey guys, my mrs just got her a1 s-line in amalfi white! it looks great next to my ibis white 2010 a3 s-line! anyway it has a note on the DIS when u turn the car off saying deadlock see owners manual, has anyone else had this? ive looked in the owners manual and the instuctions arnt that clear

just a security measure which prevents anyone opening the car from inside as well as out

yeh its only the locking/unlocking of the car when over 10mph as above its a hi-jacking prevention measure my seat ibiza had it and now my a3 has it

If you want doors to be openable from the inside just press the remote twice within 30sec to deactivate the deadlocks - also button with same function on the inside [low near front] of drivers door
