Survival Tablet

Firstly as you have guessed from the images this isn’t the ultimate cure for the night after a heavy drinking session or in fact any kind of aurally taken pill. This is in fact the latest product for all of you who want to go rushing around the mountains or country side and feel a little self-conscious about pulling out your Ipad. It’s a little like going to the beach and putting on a suit or a ball gown. All these consumer based tablets are, let’s face it well a just a little too delicate for the great outdoors. What is needed is a rough tough version that can be dropped covered in mud, works with your gloves on and charges from a built in solar panel. Not to mention that if while you are in the Tesco’s car park you should be hit by an avalanche there is also an emergency beacon built in so you will be found and rescued. Based on the Android operating system the Earl Backcountry Survival Tablet is the solution to all those annoying outdoor it problems.

Overview

While I might be a little flippant about this product I’m sure for the people who need and rely on these type of products it looks like a very cool bit of kit. It also is yet another cool product that has been back by the use of crowd funding. All the best to them and I hope they do hit the target they are looking for so this product does make it to market.
